The Charlotte Graduate Chapter of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship, Inc. hosted its impactful “Suits, Shirts & Ties” community event on the campus of Johnson C. Smith University. Demonstrating our commitment to service and mentorship, the Fellowmen donated more than 40 suits, along with dozens of shirts, vests, and ties, to support young men in need of professional attire.

The initiative was designed to help college students prepare for professional opportunities—particularly job interviews—by providing quality dress clothing at no cost. The response was enthusiastic, with over 35 young men participating and selecting items that will serve them well as they step into the next phase of their personal and professional journeys.

This effort reflects the chapter’s ongoing dedication to empowering young men of color through mentorship, resources, and community engagement.
