Charlotte Graduate Chapter Groove Phi Groove SFI® Scholastic Foundation

The Charlotte Graduate Chapter Groove Phi Groove SFI® Scholastic Foundation (the Foundation) has an evolving transparent mission linked to the national character of Groove Phi Groove Social Fellowship Inc. The Foundation’s goal is to empower its community to spearhead dialogue on collaboration, partnership development and joint ventures aimed at encouraging individuals and organizations to do much more than they may envision towards raising critical consciousness, interest and Afrocentric values necessary to prepare youth and others as independent innovative thinkers, persons of influence, and positive role models.

Scholarship Application

Scholarships awarded by the Foundation focus on families who fall into the “Donut hole:” that is, their income is too much to qualify for a large block of financial aid packages, and it is not enough to qualify for other financial aid packages. In addition, the Foundation’s scholarships are awarded to students graduating from Division I schools who have a GPA of 2.7 (on a 4.0-system) or higher.
